Turbine Disassembly Overview

The dismantling of these units was led by a team of qualified turbine mechanics that worked at in excess of 25 years and coordinated all scheduled shutdowns and updates with GE.

The components have a serial number system for matching parts and there is a paint marking system as well that was used during dismantle. These units were dismantled in a manner so they could be reassembled.  We can provide you with a parts list that included all major components, along with a list of parts that need to be purchased.

All the major components and parts are of the site at two facilities. The main facility is in the west side of  USA where the major components   are housed and we have many support components and parts in our facility in USA.

We suggest that the buyer visits both sites to see the units and bring a third party inspector to verify the components and condition. The lead tech of the disassembly team will be present to facilitate the meeting and answer questions. The GE personnel we have been working with can attest to the condition of the units and the level of update and upgrades they received while in operation.

Please keep in mind that these units were not shut down due to the end of a life cycle, they were shut down due to political reasons. The units in their current configuration have a life cycle that extends to 2041.
